team!
Hi, I'm Missie. I have a BA in Interior Design from Marymount University and years of design experience. I've worked in a multitude of building design roles, from project manager for an office design firm, sales manager for new home construction at Toll Brothers, and even as a real estate agent. I obtained my license in 2010 and had my first listing within 4 months. I worked as an independent contractor until I settled back into a sales manager role with K. Hovnanian Homes in Haymarket, Virginia. I began working in a community which sat dormant for over a year with zero sales on the books, and in six months, sold ten homes.
A few years later, I was drawn back to design and began working for Next Day Blinds. I realized that this industry was a great match for my skillsets, and after gaining experience creating sophisticated window treatments for clients, I transitioned to working for Rockwood Shutters, where I met Stephanie.
Hi, I'm Sydney! I am a senior at James Madison University working towards my BBA in Marketing with a minor in Environmental Studies. This summer, I am responsible for helping Turnkey with their various marketing efforts, including the redesign of this website and running the social media pages as an intern. I am looking forward to learning from Stephanie and Missie and gaining valuable skills I can take with me into my career upon my graduation next spring. Go dukes!
We connected instantly, realizing we were not maximizing our full potential. Stephanie and I share many of the same values as well as visions, including top level customer service and personal design guidance all while working within clients’ budgets. When I learned of Stephanie’s new company- Turn-Key Treatments, I knew instantly this is where I wanted to continue my career!
